Chemistry Course Description
Chemistry High School
This Course consists of Chemistry High School designed for G11 who is planned to join University for Medical and Engineering colleges as chemistry is compulsory to these careers.
The course is prerequisite to Advanced Chemistry and A.P Chemistry Courses needed for some colleges of some universities.
The course is topic based and has a chapter-wise arrangement plan.
At the end of the course the student should be able to recognize basic scientific facts and gain scientific skills in chemistry needed to cope with science in colleges stage
The course is designed on weekly basis in definite steps:
1- Quarter — Week — Resources: including text material, PowerPoint materials, videos, online schedule and so on.
2- Quarter — Week — Question Bank, answered questions.
3- Quarter — Week — Home work: about 40 – 50 Questions, open time, open book, H.W., that worth 20 marks.
4- Quarter — Week — Test: about 20 questions, time limited with 3 makeup trials, that worth 20 Marks.
Every week is evaluated at 40 marks.
40 marks are taken as average to all weeks.
a quarter exam is evaluated at 40 marks.
40 marks are taken as average to all quarter exams.
the course is evaluated as average of both then corrected to be as a percentage mark.
